Governors Ball announces 2015 After Dark shows

Post-festival shows include Hot Chip, Conor Oberst, Chromeo, Benjamin Booker, and more.

    When the gates close on Randall’s Island Park the evenings of June 5th, 6th, and 7th, the festivities surrounding Governors Ball 2015 will continue in venues across New York City. Today, the festival revealed the full docket of its “After Dark” shows.

    Things actually kick off early with a “warm up” day on Thursday, June 6th. Chromeo will perform at the legendary Apollo Theater, while Benjamin Booker rocks Irving Plaza and Odesza gets down at Rough Trade.

    On Friday the 5th, Little Dragon will hit Brooklyn Bowl, White Lung will play Knitting Factory, and Atmosphere will team with Bishop Neru at Irving Plaza. Chromeo will also be at it again, this time with a DJ set at Output, while SBTRKT DJs over at Verboten.

    Saturday sees Conor Oberst taking over at Music Hall of Williamsburg, Hot Chip DJing at Output, and Mau5trap presenting deadmau5 at Verboten. Things wrap up Sunday evening with a Flying Lotus DJ set at Le Poisson Rouge and a Big Gigantic and Friends blowout at Brooklyn Bowl.

    All tickets go on sale at noon EST on April 17th, except for the Brooklyn Bowl shows, which will be available beginning at 10am. More info can be found here. Find the complete aftershow schedule below.

    Govs Ball’s main bill includes Drake, The Black Keys, Björk, Florence and the Machine, Lana Del Rey, My Morning Jacket, Ryan Adams, Tame Impala, St. Vincent, The Decemberists, Future Islands, The War on Drugs, Death from Above 1979, and many more.
