The inaugural Landmark Music Festival will take place at West Potomac Park in Washington, DC during the weekend of September 27th and 28th.
Drake and The Strokes headline the lineup alongside other notable acts including Alt-J, CHVRCHES, The Kills, The War of Drugs, Band of Horses, Chromeo, Twin Shadow, Daughter, Dan Deacon, Albert Hammond Jr., The Joy Formidable, Dr. John & The Nite Trippers, Wale, Ex Hex, and more. You can see the full lineup at Festival Outlook.
The festival is designed to raise awareness, participation, and fundraising to restore the National Mall. As a press release explains, the grounds, which were built to honor America’s brightest leaders and bravest heroes, is suffering from a growing amount of deferred maintenance and needed upgrades to the infrastructure of the park, which has not seen a major renovation in 40 years.
A limited number of “First-In” general admission tickets are now available through the festival’s website, with additional tickets available beginning Wednesday, April 29th at 10 a.m. ET.
