Nelly was arrested on Saturday night after police discovered marijuana, methamphetamine, and several handguns on his tour bus.
Tennessee Highway Patrol initially pulled over the bus for failing to display a U.S. Department of Transportation and International Fuel Tax Association sticker. After smelling marijuana, police proceeded to search the bus and discovered five rocks that tested positive for meth.
Nelly posted $10,000 bail and was released from Putnam County Jail early Sunday morning. He is facing felony possession of drugs, simple possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to TMZ, Nelly’s lawyer disputes the charges, saying the drugs did not belong to Nelly.
