Children of the ’90s will soon be reunited with the Tanner family: According to TVLine.com, Netflix wants to revive the legendary ABC series for a new 13-episode season titled, Fuller House.
The series would star Candace Cameron Bure as D.J. and Andrea Barber as her best friend, Kimmy Gibbler. While Bob Saget, John Stamos, and Dave Coulier would appear in cameos, presumably with the rest of the cast following suit. Original show creator Jeff Franklin plans to executive produce alongside original EPs Thomas L. Miller and Robert L. Boyett.
Full House last aired on television in 1995. In recent years, however, the show’s cast members have opened the door for a possible revival. In 2013, Stamos reunited Jesse and the Rippers for an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and last year, much of the cast reunited to sing the Full House theme song at a birthday party for Franklin.
Stamos previously mentioned that he was working on a Full House movie, but it seems the plan has since shifted to a new episodic series.
