Phish’s Mike Gordon announces US tour dates

In addition to rockin' sets, the bassist promises "plenty of mad scientist gadgetry" each night

Phish’s Mike Gordon is hitting the road for a solo US tour this June. The month-long trek will see Gordon accompanied by his backing band of Scott Murawski (guitar), Craig Myers (percussion), and new additions Robert Walter (keyboards) and John Kimock (drums).

Along with rockin’ sets, the Phish bassist promises “plenty of mad scientist gadgetry designed to make the shows a highly interactive experience.” Fans will even be treated to a gizmo called “the EEL,” which is described as “an enormous digital keyboard that spans the edge of the stage and allows fans to play the band.”

Gordon’s last album was 2014’s Overstep, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be new material on this tour. Consult the full itinerary below, followed by a video of Gordon announcing the tour.
