Yesterday, The Rolling Stones announced a 15-date stadium tour to coincide with the re-release of their classic 1971 LP, Sticky Fingers. The deluxe reissue promises a handful of previously unheard “audio outtakes” from the band, and they’ve now revealed a listen of the first one: an acoustic version of “Wild Horses”. The track comes in the form of a lyric video that utilizes a zipper theme in reference to the Andy Warhol-designed Sticky Fingers album cover. Check it out below.
The Sticky Fingers reissue is due out May 25th and will also feature an outtake of “Brown Sugar” featuring Eric Clapton and five tracks recorded live at London’s Roundhouse in 1971. Meanwhile, the Zip Code tour kicks off a day earlier on the 24th in San Diego. Find the full itinerary here.
