Aphex Twin shares 10 new tracks on his “secret” SoundCloud account — listen

    Aphex Twin might’ve made his fans wait 13 years for SYRO, but lately the elusive producer’s been extremely generous with his output. In addition to a 20-track synth LP and his Computer Controlled Acoustic Instruments Pt. 2 EP, Richard D. James has been steadily uploading handfuls of rare and previously unheard tracks to a “secret” SoundCloud account.

    His latest cryptic delivery came this morning and featured 10 songs. Some bear the bizarre titles of “34 ibiza spliff”, “26 subbassjzzYvEntolins”, and “7 summerfestivalloveinthecountry”, and span anywhere between one to six minutes in length. While most are tagged simply as #afx, others, such as “5 parabeats2”, are described as “1994-ish” — confirming that Aphex Twin is indeed unearthing some mighty old material.
