Update: Austin City Limits announces 2015 lineup

Foo Fighters, The Strokes, Drake, Florence and the Machine, and many more set to descend on Austin, TX this October

    Austin City Limits is set to reveal its 2015 lineup on Tuesday, but it appears the Austin, Texas music festival let the cat out of the bag a little early. As Austin 360 points out, what looks to be this year’s lineup was posted on ACL’s website for a few hours on Sunday before being pulled down. (The lineup still shows up when you search the link in Google, and plenty of screenshots of the website have been posted to Twitter. However, as of publication, festival organizers have yet to confirm its veracity.)

    Update – Tuesday, 7:00 a.m.: The lineup has been officially announced.

    Weekend one’s lineup features Foo Fighters, The Strokes, Drake, The Weeknd, Disclosure, Tame Impala, Alabama Shakes, Alt-J, The Decemberists, Chance the Rapper, ASAP Rocky, Billy Idol, Run the Jewels, TV on the Radio, Brandon Flowers, Brand New, Father John Misty, Kurt Vile and the Violators, Gary Clark Jr., Royal Blood, Jose Gonzalez, and Daughter, along with deadmau5, Bassnectar, Hozier, and Of Monsters and Men.

    Weekend two, meanwhile, promises Foo Fighters, Drake, Florence and the Machine, The Weeknd, Disclosure, Tame Impala, Modest Mouse, Alt-J, The Decemberists, Chance the Rapper, ASAP Rocky, Billy Idol, Run the Jewels, TV on the Radio, Brandon Flowers, Brand New, Father John Misty, Kurt Vile and the Violators, Gary Clark Jr., Royal Blood, Jose Gonzalez, and Daughter, along with deadmau5, Bassnectar, Hozier, and Of Monsters and Men.

    ACL 2015 takes place October 2nd – 4th and 9th – 11th at Zilker Park. Three-day passes to the festival will go on sale Tuesday, May 5th, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
