Howard and Guy Lawrence of Disclosure made their epic comeback earlier this month with “Bang That”, the first piece of new music since the release of their widely acclaimed debut LP, Settle. Today, the UK duo returned to Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 program to premiere yet another contagious club anthem called “Holding On”.

Dubbed the official “first single” off Disclosure’s forthcoming sophomore album, it features the velvety croons of Grammy-winning jazz vocalist Gregory Porter. According to the Lawrence brothers, the track was originally written by Howard, Porter, and longtime collaborator Jimmy Napes as a ballad for the piano. Guy, however, turned that low-key mix into what it is today, in a way “remixing” their own original song. Disclosure previously promised that the new LP, like its predecessor, would feature a generous list of guest collaborators; if “Holding On” is any indication of the star power to come, it sounds like fans are in for a doozy.
