British indie rockers deliver stripped down set

This year during South by Southwest, Consequence of Sound teamed with Jukely and Tito’s Handmade Vodka to bring Off the Avenue to Austin. We invited nearly 30 bands to visit our special 5th Street Studios setup and film exclusive sessions.

In the latest edition of this exclusive OTA SXSW series, we bring you British indie rockers The Vaccines. The band was in Austin supporting their new album, English Graffiti, and stopped by the studio to do just that. With a stripped down set featuring only frontman Justin Hayward-Young on acoustic guitar and Freddie Cowan on electric, the pair performed “Want You So Bad” from the new LP, plus “Melody Calling” from the 2013 EP of the same name.
