Sharon Van Etten is gearing up to release a new EP called I Don’t Want to Let You Down on June 9th via Jagjaguwar. The five-track collection follows last year’s excellent LP Are We There, and features a handful of guests including Adam Granduciel and Dave Hartley of The War on Drugs, Megafaun’s Brad Cook, and Ben Folds Five’s Darren Jessee.
Our latest taste of the EP comes with “Just Like Blood”, a shadowy number highlighted by funereal piano and an especially spectral vocal performance from the Brooklyn singer-songwriter. Listen below.
