Stephen Hawking Glastonbury

This year’s Glastonbury lineup is as eclectic is ever with performances from Kanye West, Foo Fighters, and The Who alongside a scheduled appearance from The Dalai Lama. Now, theoretical physicist and mathematician Stephen Hawking has been added to the fold.

Professor Hawking will appear at the festival’s Kidz Field during the weekend of June 24th – 28th. It’s unclear what exactly he’ll be doing there; perhaps he’ll perform a live rendition of his recent Monty Python cover or reunite with Pink Floyd? He could also be hosting a screening of the recent biopic, The Theory of Everything.

Regardless of what he does end up doing, Hawking will no doubt be the biggest and most thought-provoking attraction at the Kidz Field. Other scheduled performers include Dynamo the magician, Mr. Yipadee, and Wonky Donkey.
