This year during South by Southwest, Consequence of Sound teamed with Jukely and Tito’s Handmade Vodka to bring Off the Avenue to Austin. We invited nearly 30 bands to visit our special 5th Street Studios setup and film exclusive sessions.

Today, we’re proud to present a very special episode of our OTA sessions with iconic British rockers The Zombies. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees were making the festival rounds in support of their PledgeMusic-funded new record, and were kind enough to pop into 5th Street Studios for a double performance. First they delivered the jazzy “I Want You Back Again” from their 1965 single release. Then, they showcase the new material with the bluesy slow jam “Edge of the Rainbow”. Check out both clips below.

Revisit our past SXSW OTA sessions with Mew, The Vaccines, Kopecky, Kevin Devine, Diarrhea Planet, Doomtree, Monster Rally & Jay Stone, Krill, The Stone Foxes, Yumi Zouma, Milo Greene, Turbo Fruits, and Wilsen, and stay tuned for more from The Districts, Son Lux, San Fermin, Public Service Broadcasting, Rubblebucket, ADVAETA, Torres, Et Tu Bruce, Hollis Brown, and others. You can also still dig deep into all the Off the Avenue sessions here.
