Roger Waters is set to return to the stage for his first-ever appearance at Newport Folk Fest next month. That won’t be his only high profile gig this year, however.

On October 16th, the former Pink Floyd bassist will host and perform at this year’s annual Music Heals Benefit concert in Washington, DC. The event, which raises money for MusiCorps, a non-profit organization that supports wounded soldiers, will also feature special guests Billy Corgan, Tom Morello, and Sheryl Crow. Tickets go on sale on Friday, June 26th at 10:00 a.m. EST through Live Nation.

No stranger to MusiCorps, Waters has been involved with the charity’s Wounded Warrior Band over the years. He and the ensemble covered Levon Helm’s “Wide River to Cross” and Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” at past Stand Up for Heroes benefit shows. Revisit both of those performances below.
