On the back of their earth-shattering 2014 record, Lost in the Dream, The War on Drugs established themselves as one of the most exciting rock bands of the last decade (and certainly the last year). That success has led to their booking at nearly ever 2015 music festival, an appearance in the forthcoming Guitar Hero video game, and now, a major label contract with Atlantic Records.

According to Billboard, The War on Drugs have signed a two-album deal with Atlantic. Up until now, the band has released its music exclusively through Secretly Canadian, but frontman Adam Granduciel says “being on a larger label brings a whole new set of resources and exposure.”
