    After the passing of Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz, no one was really clamoring to revive the iconic comic strip for new audiences. But 15 years later, with the blessing of his sons and some help from Paul FeigThe Peanuts Movie is on its way to theaters. Today, 20th Century Fox has shared a new trailer for the film, and it looks like the enduring spirit of the source material has been maintained during the switch from 2D drawings to 3D animation. Watch below.

    This is the first trailer that gives us hints at the plot of the film, which will see Snoopy squaring off against his rival, The Red Baron, for some more aerial adventures, as well as a possible romantic plot for everyone’s favorite lovable loser Charlie Brown.

    The Peanuts Movie, directed by Steve Martino (Horton Hears a Who), hits theaters on November 6th.
