On July 31st, Teenage Time Killers, the metal/punk supergroup led by Corrosion of Conformity’s Reed Mullin, The Birds of Satan guitarist Mick Murphy, and producer John “Lou” Lousteau, will release their debut album via Reprise Records.
The cleverly titled Greatest Hits Vol. 1 features a who’s who list of rock vets, including Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl and Pat Smear, former Queens of the Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri, Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Stone Sour, Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio/Blink-182, Jello Biafra of The Dead Kennedys, Randy Blythe from Lamb of God, and Tommy Victor of Prong and Danzig, among countless others.
The album comprises 20 tracks, a handful of which are deep-cut covers, including the Rudimentary Peni song that gives the group its name. Instrumentals were tracked at Grohl’s 606 Studios in Northridge, California.
