Roger Waters headlined the Newport Music Festival on Friday night, marking his first live performance since the end of his Wall tour in 2013. Waters had promised a “very special” setlist, and he proved to be a man of a word.

His all-acoustic performance mixed Pink Floyd (“Mother”, “Wish You Were Here”, “Brain Damage”, “Eclipse”), solo material (“Amused to Death”, “The Bravery of Being Out of Range”), a new song called “Crystal Clear”, and covers of Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young”, Buddy Miller’s “Wide River to Cross”, and John Prine’s “Hello In There”.

The setlist wasn’t the only thing special about the performance, however. Waters was accompanied by My Morning Jacket, whose surprise appearance was only revealed when the band hit the stage earlier in the day to perform their own set. In addition to MMJ, Waters was joined by Amy Helm, the daughter of the late Levon Helm, as well as Lucius and Sara Watkins. Check out a few fan-shot clips below.
