Stream: Public Enemy’s new album Man Plans God Laughs

Plus, check out the iconic hip-hop outfit's video for the title track

Public Enemy are back with a brand new album, Man Plans God Laughs. The follow-up to the legendary hip-hop outfit’s The Evil Empire of Everything is meant to drop worldwide on July 27th through RCS Music; ahead of that release, however, it’s streaming below via Spotify.

While sitting for an interview last month with Maxim, Chuck D explained that he took influence from modern rap heroes like Kendrick Lamar and Run the Jewels, adding, “but [we] stayed far enough away from them to still be Public Enemy. We’re making a comment about the 21st century in this technological yet still political world. It will be able to tell its own story without me trying to talk to it.”

In addition to the stream, Public Enemy has released a video for the title track. Over the hook, “Do it for the culture/ do it for the youth,” the clip sees a young kid on the verge of making a bad decision. Check it out beneath the stream below.
