If you follow Amy Schumer on Instagram, then you’re undoubtedly aware of her new found friendship with Jennifer Lawrence. Turns out the pair are doing much more than jet sking in the Hamptons. According to The New York Times, Schumer and Lawrence are writing a movie together.

“We play sisters,” Lawrence told the Times. “We’re almost done writing. It just flowed out of us. We’ve got about 100 pages right now.”

“Amy and I were creatively made for each other,” Lawrence added. “We have different flavors. It’s been the most fun experience of my life. We start the day off on the phone, laughing. And then we send each other pages. And we crack up. I’m flying out tomorrow to see her in Chicago. We’ll write a little bit with her sister, Kim, who worked with Amy when she was writing Trainwreck.”

Schumer and her sister are also at work on a new comedy in which a daughter and mother get kidnapped in Brazil. As for Lawrence, she has several more projects in the pipeline, including the sci-fi drama Passengers opposite Chris Pratt; David O. Russell’s new film Joy; a romantic dramedy called The Rosie Project; and It’s What I Do, in which she’ll play a wartime photographer captured by the Libyan Army. All that’s in addition to Lawrence’s roles in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 and X Men: Apocalypse.
