In addition to Dr. Dre’s troubling history of abuse against women, the success of the Straight Outta Compton biopic has reignited conversations pertaining to Eazy-E and Suge Knight’s beef. Yesterday, a newly surfaced interview saw former N.W.A. manager Jerry Heller admit to regretting having talked Eazy-E out of killing Knight. Now, it appears Eazy-E’s son Yung Eazy has been sharing an interesting theory that’s sure to stoke the fires even more: He believes that Knight had a hand in his father’s death.
Eazy-E passed away in 1995, the cause of death stemming from complications from AIDS. However, Yung Eazy suggests that Knight may have purposely injected him with the virus. As horrifying a theory as it is, the burgeoning rapper backs up his claim with a chilling Jimmy Kimmel interview circa 2003 in which Knight jokes about murdering people with — you guessed it — AIDS-infected needles.
“I’ve been known my pops was killed. His death never added up 2 what ppl have always said maybe they think we’re idiots blind to the truth idk….,” Yung Eazy wrote on Instagram. “but 4 u new fans, youngsters & ppl who just don’t know much notice in #StraightOuttaCompton Eazy did not get sick until after the studio incident with suge and look how he acknowledged & admits on this interview with #JimmyKimmel injecting ppl instead of shooting them is a new thing that’s done. ???? the truth is out there its just blinded by the fact that Eric had alot of sex #FreeYourMind #RipEazyE #EazyE #FuckSugeKnight
