Four Tet remixes CHVRCHES’ “Leave a Trace” — listen

A new album called Morning/Evening, a Coldplay remix, and a Roots Manuva collaboration are among the many projects Four Tet has been involved in this year. This week, he’s carved out some time from his busy schedule to rework “Leave a Trace”, one of the singles off the forthcoming CHVRCHES album, Every Open Eye.

Rather than infuse the original with additional pop and vigor, Four Tet instead takes the energy down a couple notches. The result is a chilled out, yet still very dreamy meditative rendition. Listen below.
