Kool A.D. and Kassa Overall are the kind of guys who will crack jokes until someone wants to fight them and then keep cracking jokes while throwing hands. Case in point, the West Coast rappers’ latest absurdist mixtape is dubbed Barter 7, snatching the title from Young Thug before he can use it.

(This isn’t the first time they’ve swooped in on another rapper’s mixtape series; their last collaboration was titled Coke Boys 5nabbing the title from French Montana right after he released the fourth installment in his Coke Boys series.)

The new tape finds Kool and Kassa once again reuniting under their Peaceful Solutions banner. The first Peaceful Solutions release was mostly original content, while Coke Boys 5 was primarily the two rappers going in over popular beats like “Started From the Bottom” and “Stoner”. This time around, they opt for the latter formula again, dropping original bars over Dej Loaf’s “Try Me”, Bobby Shmurda’s “Hot Nigga”, and Fetty Wap’s “My Way”, among others.
