Deafheaven premieres new song “Come Back” — listen

Another massive number from the band's forthcoming New Bermuda

Deafheaven return today with “Come Back”, another track off one of this year’s most hotly-anticipated albums, New Bermuda.

Like a vast ocean, this latest offering mightily churns and crashes for longer than nine minutes, its waters a volatile mix of blistering rumbles, hellish growls, and dooming melodies. It’s not all tumult, however; the blistering energy eventually gives way — much like stellar lead single “Brought to the Water” — to sobering periods of reflection and perhaps even a little Explosions in the Sky-esque uplift. Listen in below.

New Bermuda, the follow-up to 2013’s breakthrough Sunbather, is expected to hit shelves on October 2nd via ANTI- Records. Deafheaven will embark on a North American tour this fall in support.

New Bermuda Tracklist:
01. Brought to the Water
02. Luna
03. Baby Blue
04. Come Back
05. Gifts for the Earth
