In an impressive twist of industry perception, Justin Bieber is apparently cool now. CHVRCHES turned his recent single, “What Do You Mean”, into a club-ready dance anthem, and even Win Butler of Arcade Fire can’t hate on “Where Are Ü Now”. Now you can count Florence and the Machine as being fans of that latter track, as they just delivered a cover of the track to BBC Radio 1.

As part of a Live Lounge session during which they performed their own “Ship to Wreck”, “Sweet Nothing”, “What Kind of Man”, “Queen of Peace”, and “Delilah”, Ms. Welch and the band also delivered a pretty beautiful rendition of “Where Are Ü Now”. The lilting electronics of Diplo and Skrillex’s Jack Ü are still there, but the whole number is slowed down to highlight Florence’s aching vocals, turning the dance-floor summer smash into a emotional ballad.
