Kylesa promise their next album, Exhausting Fire, will pull from a wide range of genres, including “psychedelic rock, new wave, space-age twangy Americana, 80s goth and death rock.” For an example of this all-inclusive approach, fans needn’t look further than the sludge metal outfit’s latest LP offering, “Night Drive”.

Though modestly clocking in below five minutes, the track finds Kylesa pairing up the usual savage riffs and winding melodies with some left-field percussion arrangements during the bridge. The band may start out speeding down a dirt road, but their final destination seems to be some sort of satanic ritual. Listen in below.
