Prince, Beyoncé, Jay Z to headline TIDAL X: 1020 charity concert

Usher, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Benjamin Booker, Raury, Hit-Boy, and Alessia Cara are also performing

    TIDAL, the artist-owned, high-fidelity streaming music platform, recently surpassed one million subscribers. To mark the occasion, several of the company’s principal owners will headline a massive charity concert at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on October 20th.

    Beyoncé, Jay Z, Usher, and Nicki Minaj, all of whom are equity stakeholders, will perform at the TIDAL X: 1020 charity concert. Also confirmed is Prince, who recently released his new album HITNRUN Phase One exclusively through the platform.

    The lineup also includes Lil Wayne, T.I., and Damien Marley, along with rising artists including Benjamin Booker, Raury, Hit-Boy, Alessia Cara, and Jidenna.

    TIDAL subscribers will have first crack at tickets before they go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 2nd. Proceeds will benefit the New World Foundation, distributed among various nonprofit organizations and grassroots movements dedicated to improving communities and fighting systemic and social injustices.

    The concert will also be streamed live online via TIDAL’s website to both subscribers and non-subscribers.
