A year after the horrific car accident that left him in a coma, comedian Tracy Morgan is getting ready to return to the work he loves. Already confirmed to host the October 17th episode of Saturday Night Live, Morgan has now reportedly booked his first film role since his impressive recovery.

According to TheWrap, Morgan will join Ice Cube and Charlie Day in Richie Keen’s Fist Fight. Written by Evan Susser and Van Robichaux, the film centers on a mild-mannered teacher (Day) who gets challenged to a fist fight by a much larger instructor (Ice Cube). Variety reports that Morgan will play a gym teacher at the school. Also featuring appearances by Dean Norris and Jillian Bell, production is set to begin in Atlanta later this month.

Fist Fight will be Morgan’s first feature film since his limo was struck by a Walmart truck back in June 2014. The last time he was seen on screen was in Chris Rock’s Top Five, though he also appeared in the controversially repackaged David O. Russell film Accidental Love earlier this year.
