Apparently, Jewel is the world’s biggest Foo Fighters fan. She first made her love known last month when she appeared with the band to cover Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love”, but that’s not the only gig she’s attended. “She comes to every Foo Fighters show,” Dave Grohl joked as he once again welcomed the singer to the stage, this time in Atlanta. “She does. Every Foo Fighters show, it’s like, ‘Oh shit, there’s Jewel.'”

And on Sunday evening, oh shit, there she was again. This time around, Grohl didn’t just surprise the audience, but Jewel herself. From the crowd-shot footage you can see below, it seems the Foo frontman never cleared what song they’d be tackling with the country-folk singer. “I didn’t tell you what we’re doing,” Grohl smirked. “Do you wanna know what we’re doing? I’m not even gonna tell you what we’re doing. You gotta guess what we’re doing.” Of course, she didn’t have to guess when a roadie laid the lyrics to Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks’ classic “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” at her feet.

Whether she really knew what she was getting into or not, she absolutely nailed it. She even stunned Grohl on the third verse when he asked, “How the fuck am I supposed to sing the next part after you?” He did his best to keep up, though. Check out the video below.
