Maynard James Keenan biography to be released in 2016

One of rock ‘n’ roll’s most enigmatic figures will see his life story put to print. Backbeat Books has announced the release of a biography on Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan, to be written by Sarah Jenson, and released in fall 2016.

In addition to Tool, the 51-year-old musician fronts Puscifer and A Perfect Circle. Outside of music, he’s a Purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, dabbled in comedy and acting, and owns two wine vineyards.

The biography could coincide with the release of Tool’s long-awaited new studio, which is said to be progressing closer to completion.
