Los Angeles garage rockers Deap Vally gave us one of the best songs of 2013 in “Lies”, a standout off their debut album, Sistrionix. Now, some two years later, the two-piece is prepping a follow-up for 2016, an as-yet-untitled full-length produced by Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

As a preview of the sophomore LP, Deap Vally’s unveiled “Royal Jelly”, a slow burning jam outfitted with a searing chorus. Zinner, who’s produced for the likes of Bloc Party and Santigold, offers a touch that’s equal parts polished yet feral.

Check it out below via its accompanying Jess Holzworth-directed music video, which stars Mick Jagger’s daughter Georgia Jagger and features a cameo from Zinner.
