New Jersey punks Screaming Females put out their excellent sixth studio record, Rose Mountain, back in February. Less than 10 months later, frontwoman Marissa Paternoster is back with new music — this time under her solo moniker, Noun.
It’s not just one song, however; Paternoster’s released a full-length surprise album called Throw Your Body on the Gears and Stop the Machine with Your Blood. The collection, which follows the 2010 Noun LP, Holy Hell, spans 10 ferocious tracks, with titles such as “Dirty Mind”, “Misery”, and “Secret Death”.
