20 years after Captain Steven Hiller and David Levinson saved planet Earth from utter destruction, the aliens have returned. Today, 20th Century Fox has shared the trailer for its long-awaited sequel, Independence Day: Resurgence.
The film stars Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch, Vivica A. Fox, and Brent Spiner, reprising their original roles, along with newcomers Liam Hemsworth, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe, Sela Ward, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Joey King, and William Fichtner. Roland Emmerich returns as director.
Independence Day: Resurgence hits theaters June 24th, 2016.
