Crystal Castles to release new album this spring

The band's first LP since the departure of vocalist Alice Glass

Despite singer Alice Glass’ departure from Crystal Castles over a year ago, founding member Ethan Kath said he’d forge on with the project and release a new album. The experimental outfit has kept its word, today announcing that the highly-anticipated follow-up to 2012’s (III) will arrive this spring.

The as-yet-untitled LP marks Crystal Castles’ fourth overall, but the first featuring new vocalist Edith Frances; Kath will serve as main songwriter and producer. It’s set to include the songs “Frail” and “Decide”, both of which were released last year.

Revisit the latter track below.

To coincide with the album news, the band has confirmed a number of US festival appearances, including South by Southwest, Capitol Hill Block Party, and Buku Music + Arts Project.
