Earlier this week an unreleased Red Hot ChilI Peppers track called “Circle of the Noose” leaked onto the Internet. The track dates back 20 years to sessions with guitarist Dave Navarro for the follow-up to One Hot Minute. While those sessions failed to lead to a new LP, the Chili Peppers still wax nostalgia over their time with Navarro. During a Super Bowl pre-party concert in San Francisco last night, the band dusted off the One Hot Minute track “Aeroplane” for the first time in two decades. Catch fan-shot footage below (via Alternative Nation).

In related news, Chili Peppers headlined a Bernie Sanders fundraiser in Los Angeles on Friday night. During the gig, they covered David Bowie’s “Cracked Actor” complete with a custom drumhead featuring a morphing of Bernie and Bowie’s images.
