A series of terror attacks in Brussels, Belgium early Tuesday killed at least 34 and injured 170 more. Savannah, Georgia metal band Baroness was due to perform a concert in the city this evening. In a posting to Instagram, the band’s members confirm they are safe and accounted for.
“We are not in Brussels. We don’t know what’s going on, or where we are going to go yet, but we’ll try to keep you up to date, and we’re going to look into playing a show somewhere,” the band wrote. “Everyone we know is ok at the moment, and we hope you all are as well. There were a couple bomb attacks in Belgium today, and we’re responding as best we can with the info we have. Stay tuned and everyone please be safe.”
In August 2012, Baroness members and their crew were severely injured when their tour bus crashed near Bath, England.
