Frightened Rabbit are prepping to release their “most accomplished” album yet, Painting of a Panic Attack. Aaron Dessner of The National, who produced the LP, praised frontman/lyricist Scott Hutchison, explained, “Great songwriters touch a nerve, and I think Scott [Hutchison] really touches a nerve with these songs. To me, lyrically, this album is a step above anything he’s written before.”
For their first late-night appearance behind Panic Attack, the Scottish natives truly did touch a nerve, delivering a compelling performance of “Get Out” on Colbert on Monday. Catch the replay below.
The new album is slated to hit stores on April 8th via Canvasback/Atlantic. In support, Frightened Rabbit will soon embark on a US tour.
