Warner Bros. has unleashed a brand new trailer for its upcoming anti-hero epic Suicide Squad ahead of the film’s August 5th release.
Easily the most noteworthy moments of the two-and-a-half minute teaser come thanks to The Dark Knight of Gotham, confirming longstanding rumors that Ben Affleck will have a role in the film. In the trailer, we see Batfleck in full pursuit of The Joker and Harley Quinn.
In Suicide Squad, a secret government agency recruits imprisoned supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency. The cast includes Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jared Leto as The Joker, Adam Beach as Slipknot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller. David Ayer served as director.
