Australian duo Oh Pep! get moving on new single “Bushwick” — listen

Australian duo's latest is indie folk pop at its most kinetic

“Bushwick”, the latest single from the Australian duo Oh Pep!, never stops moving. This is pop at its most kinetic, propelled forward by a steady snare beat, the rhythmic scratch of strings, and the undeniable energy that exists between songwriters Olivia Hally and Pepita Emmerichs.

The pair formed Oh Pep! while studying together at a music secondary school in Melbourne, and their formal training shows off in tunes like “Bushwick”, the latest single off their forthcoming album Stadium Cake (which does in fact sound as huge and as irresistible as a cake the size of a stadium). The track travels a long way in its three minutes, whether via cab, train, or foot. In any case, its final destination is somewhere deep inside your brain. This one latches on and doesn’t let go.

Listen in to “Bushwick” below. Stadium Cake will be released June 24th via Dualtone; pre-order the album here.
