Clams Casino announces debut album, shares new songs “Blast” and “Witness” — listen

32 Levels due to hit stores in July

    Electronic and hip-hop producer Michael Volpe, better known by his stage name Clams Casino, has announced his full-length debut titled 32 Levels. The album arrives on July 15th from Columbia.

    32 Levels marks Volpe’s second label-released effort following his Tri Angle Records Rainforest EP in 2011. He has since self-released three instrumental mixtapes, the most recent being 2013’s Instrumental Mixtape 3, which was made available for free on Twitter.

    In addition to the album announcement, the producer has unveiled a new instrumental track titled “Blast”. Check out the hypnotic, chillwave-esque cut above via its accompanying visual.

    Update — Thursday, May 26th at 11:22 a.m. CT: Clams Casino has shared a new song called “Witness” featuring Lil B. The producer also mentioned that ASAP Rocky and Vince Staples will appear on 32 Levels.

    Along with his own solo material, Volpe has kept busy collaborating with the likes of Danny Brown, ASAP Ferg, and Kelela, among others.
