The sounds of sludge metal have just gotten a little quieter. Savannah, Georgia heavy psych rockers Kylesa have announced that they’re taking an indefinite hiatus.

On their Facebook account, the trio — consisting of Phillip Cope, Laura Pleasants, Carl McGinle — announced plans to bring 15 years of performing and recording to a halt. In the message, they thanked their fans for their years of support. No reasons were given for the decision, though they added that, sadly, they have “no set date to reconvene.”
