The members of ABBA reunited on stage in Stockholm on Sunday and performed together for the first time in 30 years.
Agnetha Faltskog, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid (Frida) Lyngstad all attended at a private party celebrating the group’s 50th anniversary. According to Expressen, the foursome performed “The Way Old Friends Do” from their 1980 album Super Trouper.
Earlier this year, the members of ABBA gathered together for the first time since 2008 to attend the opening of Mamma Mia! The Party in Stockholm. However, last night marked the first time they performed together since 1986.
Since their initial in 1982, ABBA have rejected numerous offers to reunite. They reportedly turned down an offer valued at over $1 billion, and also opted not to perform at their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.
