Last month, Brand New returned with — well, a brand new single called “I Am A Nightmare”. The track, along with last year’s one-offer “Mene”, are rumored to appear on a new full-length album due out later this year. However, with good news also comes bad news, as frontman Jesse Lacey has insinuated that Brand New are reaching their end point.
Last year, Lacey reportedly announced the band’s impending breakup during a concert in Nashville. New band merchandise seems to confirm as much:

Fortunately, 2018 is a good 18 months away. In addition to a new album, Brand New have also lined up an extensive summer tour that includes dates with Modest Mouse. See their updated schedule below, and stay tuned for more.
