Tupac Shakur would have turned 45 years old today, and to celebrate, Morgan Creek Productions has released the first trailer for its forthcoming biopic, All Eyez On Me. Directed by Benny Boom, the film stars Demetrius Shipp, Jr. as the late iconic rapper in what could be the most dead-on lookalike casting for a biopic ever.

The minute-long teaser trailer is loaded with intense images from the hip-hop legend’s life. From his first-hand experiences with police violence, to the FBI raid on his home, to the literal suitcases of money presented to him by record executives, we’re given glimpses at every angle of Tupac’s story. The ending narration is perhaps most poignant, as a reporter tells the rapper, “You said, and I quote, ‘If they kill me, I want the people to know the real story.'”

Check out the trailer above. All Eyez On Me opens on November 11th.
