For better or worse, Hollywood is all about remakes, reboots, and sequels. And that includes the folks over at Nickelodeon, who recently green-lit a TV revival of Hey Arnold.

The network today confirmed a 2017 release for the two-hour telepic, which is officially dubbed, Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie.

Many of the show’s original voice actors are returning for the film, including Marie Smith (Helga); Anndi McAfee (Phoebe); Justin Shenkarow (Harold); Olivia Hack (Rhonda); Nika Futterman (Olga); Dan Castellaneta (Grandpa); and Tress MacNeille (Grandma).

Lane Toran and Jamil Smith, who originally voiced Arnold and Gerald, respectively, will also return, but in different, as-yet-uannounced roles. For the forthcoming film, Mason Vale Cotton will voice Arnold and Benjamin “L’il P-Nut” Flores Jr. will voice Gerald.

Also new to the cast is Alfred Molina, who will voice the film’s villain, “an infamous river pirate operating from a secret compound in the jungles of San Lorenzo.”

Hey Arnold! creator Craig Barlett is writing and executive producing the movie. According to Variety, the plot will pick up where the original series left off, “resolving unanswered questions and plotlines — including Arnold finally getting answers about the whereabouts of his missing parents.”
