ScHoolboy Q’s alternate album cover for Blank Face is Donald Trump exactly as we’d like to see him

As in, face blurred out and mouth sealed shut

As Top Dawg Entertainment boss Anthony Tiffith promised in March, a new record from ScHoolboy Q is on the way. The follow-up to 2014’s impressive Oxymoron is titled Blank Face and expected to hit shelves on July 8th.

Earlier this week, the TDE rapper shared the album’s cover, a brilliant retooling of the Crying Jordan meme. Now, ScHoolboy has unveiled the deluxe edition’s artwork via Twitter, and it’s just as memorable. It features presumptive GOP nominee and all-around terrible human Donald Trump with his face blurred out. (If only it appeared that way on TV, too.)

Check it out above. Below, revisit the video for the MC’s latest single “THat Part” featuring Kanye West.

Update: Looks like we’ve all been had. In a new interview with TMZ (via Pitchfork), ScHoolboy Q confessed that both the Crying Jordan and Trump covers were fakes. “So I just actually trolled the people because soon as I put it up on my Twitter, everyone just said ‘Schoolboy Q’s album cover, Schoolboy Q’s artwork,’ but they defeated the purpose of what I was doing,” he said, adding that the “fact that people actually think that I would use that as my album covers is funny.”

In the same interview, he reveals the real — or what he says is “real” — artwork, which features tree branches and a masked character. (Yeah, sorry, it’s not as great as Crying Jordan or erased face Trump.) Watch the clip below, followed by the official cover.
