The Avalanches make live comeback at Primavera Sound: Video

Melbourne natives debut "Frankie Sinatra", "Subways", and other Wildflower tracks in Barcelona

    Earlier this week, The Avalanches came roaring back from an extended absence when they premiered new single “Frankie Sinatra” and announced the July 8th release of Wildflower, the long-awaited follow-up to 2000’s Since I Left You.

    Last night, the Melbourne made their live comeback at Primavera Sound in Barcelona, Spain. The setlist included the live debut of “Frankie Sinatra” and a number of other tracks off Wildflower. One of the new songs, entitled “Subways”, may sound familiar to those who called in to The Avalanches’ telephone hotline last week. Check out a couple of fan-recorded clips from the show below.
