Ahead of the July 8th release of WildflowerThe Avalanches made their live comeback at Primavera Sound in Barcelona earlier this month. The setlist featured the live debut of new songs, including “Frankie Sinatra” and “Subways”, which the band had previously teased via telephone hotline. Footage from the show has already surfaced, much to the delight of hungry fans, but Avalanches have taken things one step further by uploading the full audio of their hour-long performance.

In a series of tweets, the band recounted the story behind their Primavera appearance. Suffice it to say it wasn’t an easy feat. “Pulled this together an hour before showtime after visa fuckups nixed our live show plans.Thank fuck we had our vinyl with us,” they wrote. “Big thanks to Jamie xx who came through for us with the ‘good times’ acapella at the last moment!”
