Apparently, there’s a woman out there who just can’t let Chris Cornell (try to) live. According to TMZ, the Soundgarden frontman’s alleged stalker was taken into custody after trying to enter a Cornell solo show in Louisville.
Venue security at all of Cornell’s shows were given a photo of Jessica Robbins and told not to allow her entry. She finally popped up in Kentucky on Wednesday night (July 6th) and was taken into custody.
Robbins was arrested in 2014 for harassing Cornell online and charged with stalking. Cornell and his wife believed that Robbins had broken into their Miami home and eventually pulled their children out of public school for fear that Robbins would find them.
Robbins posted the $50,000 bail but was ordered by a judge to wear an ankle bracelet and refrain from using the internet. She managed to remove her ankle bracelet and drop off the radar shortly thereafter, reappearing for the first time at the Louisville show.
Local authorities have handed the case over to the FBI for further investigation.
Cornell is currently in the middle of the North American leg of his world tour behind the album Higher Truth. Check out the remaining dates (provided you aren’t Robbins) below.
