Earlier this week, David Gilmour offered up a treat to Polish fans when he performed classic Pink Floyd track “One of These Days” at the Plac Wolności in Wrocław. As Jambase notes, the occasion marked the first time Gilmour has performed the song in 22 years, as well as the first time he’s ever played it as part of his solo set. Check it out below:
It was a night filled with firsts for Gilmour, who also debuted “Dancing Right in Front of Me” from his 2015 solo album Rattle That Lock. He filled out the setlist with beloved tracks culled from his career in Pink Floyd, including “Wish You Were Here”, “Money”, “Time”, and “Comfortably Numb”.
So what’s next for the legendary guitarist? How about two solo dates in Pompeii, the same Italian city where Pink Floyd recorded their iconic Live at Pompeii concert film in 1971. Then he’s off on a European tour that wraps up with a four-night stand at Royal Albert Hall in London. Check out the full itinerary below.
